Peach ice cream with dates in the garden
Due to the hot weather and the availability of fabulous fruits on this little Greek island I got tempted to make some ice cream. I decided to use fresh peach. As I had never made ice cream before I was a bit nervous on how it would turn out. In the end I was very satisfied with the result and the guest I had invited, loved it too.
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Easy recipe
Ingredients:
- 250 ml whipping cream
- 2 eggs
- 3 large peaches
- some lemon zest
- dates, pit removed
Preparation :
Whisk the cream stiff then put it into the fridge.
Peel the peaches and process them in a blender until smooth.
Mix the eggs with the sugar and some of the lemon zest.
Chop the dates finely.
Take the whipped cream out of the fridge. Gently stir the egg-mix into the cream and add the dates.
Put the bowl into the freezer.
Occasionally take out of the freezer and stir in order to break the ice crystals and make it more smooth. (every hour or so for the first 3 hours)

If you see this, then I’m not having trouble making a post.
