Yum! I have never made lentils this way, reminds me of the French dish “petit salé aux lentilles”. Lentils are “it” for me I could eat them every day of the week!

I love when bacon is added to beans. But, I’ve never had it in lentils. What a nice idea.

We love lentils/fakes as well and this is a perfect preparation! We usually make them vegetarian but will some day add the bacon as it adds a wonderful smokly flavor I am sure!
