If you are looking for a Mediterranean vegetable dish that is easy to do, you found it. Fried cauliflower is easy to make and tasted great. I am sure that even those who don’t like cauliflower love this dish.
Preparation time: 3 minutes
cooking time: 10 minutes
- a kilogram of cauliflower
- 3 table spoons of coriander seeds
- 3 table spoons of fennel seeds
- oil for frying
- some salt and pepper
Wash the cauliflower and cut it in pieces. Dry it with a kitchen towel.
Heat up the oil in a pot. Add the cauliflower and fry for 8 to 10 minutes. It should have some color but not be too soft.
Meanwhile grind the fennel seeds and coriander seeds and season with salt and pepper.
When done, put the cauliflower on a kitchen paper, so it looses the excess oil. Place on a plate and sprinkle the spice mix over it. Mix and serve.
