Very close to a dish that is made here in Lebanon; I just got back to the US (it is freezing in Dallas) and I have got some goodies from Lebanon with me if interested; I am giving them away for free with a draw.
Sorry I could not participate on your Lebanese contest, but i want to do the one on Croatia, especially since my grandmother was Croatian!

this dish is also cooked with black-eyed peas (beans) instead of chickpeas
delicious combination either way
