Certainly one of the most simple ways of preparing fennel. Certainly my favourite one. Only few ingredients are needed and the taste of the fennel develops fully. I love this as a warm salad for lunch or a side dish for dinner.
preparation time: 3 minutes
baking time: 20 minutes

- 2 fennel bulbs
- 100 gram of Parmesan cheese, grated
- some olive oil
- salt and pepper
wash the fennel and dry it with a towel. cut in thin slices and put the slices into a baking pan.
Dribble some olive oil over it and add the cheese on top. Salt and pepper the dish. It won’t need much salt!
Bake in the oven at 200 degrees centigrade for 20 minutes. Use the broiler for the last fet minutes to give the dish some colour, if wanted.
