12th Mediterranean Cooking Event – Albania

We will stay with the letter “A”. Albania is a bit of a mistery for me as I could not find too much info about it. Neither have I ever visted it. Tavë dheu, Petë and Lakër…What are these dishes and wor are they prepared?
What I did find out is, that the Albanians love Meze. They have some local Beer “Birra Korça” with it or even local wine or Raki. Lunch is the main meal in Albania. I am looking forward to read what you will find out!

The 12th Mediterranean Cooking Event has started and the topic is:


Start date is the 10th of September 2010.
End date is the 10th of October 2010.

How is the winner chosen?

After the event has finished I will put up a poll

on the blog that includes all participants. You will have 2 weeks time to vote for your favourite dish.

Can I participate with more than 1 recipe?

Yes, you can. All recipes participate the poll.
